Public Talks

Are you interested in wildlife?

Do you have friends, family, neighbours or work colleagues who share in your love of nature?

If the answer to these questions is yes, and you feel your colleagues may also like to know more about Cheshire Wildlife Trust and what it has to offer, then you may be able to help us.

As part of our ongoing mission to raise awareness and encourage public interest and support we have recently created an illustrated talk promoting the work of the Trust, and wish to make this available to people in the community who may find it interesting and enjoyable.

In a relaxed informal manner it aims to touch upon some of the factors that are currently affecting our wildlife. Audiences will gain a brief insight into some of the main areas of the Trust’s work and be able to sample a little taster of the many opportunities it is creating for adults and children in the community.

Although the talk was originally created with an adult audience in mind, repeated requests have shown that it is also proving to be very much of interest to younger age groups. In response to this unforeseen demand and certainly not wishing to exclude younger people with interest in our work, wherever appropriate and entirely at the organisers request, the talk can be slightly modified in order to accommodate younger audiences who may wish to accompany their parents, grandparents, or other responsible family members and friends.

If you are a member of an already established group or perhaps you are an individual with a number of friends and colleagues whom you believe would enjoy this we would love to hear from you.

This talk is presently available free of charge and bookings can be taken for any day of the week including evenings and weekends.

As all our equipment is fully portable any reasonable venue request can be accommodated. All we require is access to a power supply (and perhaps a nice cup of tea).

If you feel this may for you and your colleagues would enjoy a ‘get together’ with a difference we would be delighted to attend.
