Only One Earth: Arts in the Park
Grosvenor Park, Chester, 9th July, Free

On 9th July (11am- 5pm) the worlds of art and the environment will be brought to life with the sights and sounds of Cheshire Wildlife Trust’s Only One Earth Festival in Grosvenor Park, Chester.

Only One Earth, organised by Cheshire Wildlife Trust in conjunction with Chester City Council, is packed with exciting activities for all the family, including giant wildflowers, dragonfly-making, T-shirt printing and a birds of prey demonstration. The festival will also form part of the BBC Breathing Places initiative, designed to improve local wildlife conditions and encourage communities to engage in conservation activity.

Entry to the event is FREE, with activities for children of all ages. Families can enjoy the exhibitor displays and the festival atmosphere in the park, with live music from The Weavils all day. The Grosvenor Park will also host a Fantastic Fungi Trail during the event.

Last year’s event attracted thousands of visitors from across the region, enjoying live music and drama, whilst taking part in interesting environmental and arts activities. Regular festival-goers should note that this year’s event is a week earlier than usual.
